Got To Have 3 Months Off Work

Recommended Posts

due to an operation on my shoulder iv been told i will be unable to work for up to 3 months, pre op assesment in august prob have op around sept,iv had problems with it for years but just put up with it but now its getting unbearable so they going to do key hole surgery and shave a couple bones which should solve the problem.

obviously money will be tight just relying on the missus wages but im screwing at the thought of 3 months at home,iv got my pup 9 weeks at the moment so will use the time training him up although as he still young trying obviously not to over do it,dont think iv ever read a dog training book in my life but have in my eyes reasonable success in the past with my dogs training all be it limited in what i require from them, so i want to go one better with this one as it were any pointers to a good one will be appreciated.

also any great ideas to pass the time bearing in mind im gonna be one handed and dont fancy the thought of knocking myself stupid for 3 month

know where your coming from, had 9 months in total due to shoulder problems, get yourself a small cheap camera and get out into your permissions and focus on all the wildlife that you may not notice when your out shooting, also DO WHAT YOUR PHYSIO TELLS YOU AFTER SURGERY, bloody easy to overdo things when it starts to feel better (also driving a car, changing gear with your right hand whilst bracing you knee against the steering wheel is definitely a bad idea) had both mine done, subacromial decompression and bits of the collar bone removed on one side, thought problems over, 18 months after the first op the other side started playing up, at least now I`ve got matching scars

Got this week off and my god I'm bored. Been out with the dog but only so much walking you can give a french bulldog. f**k all on the tele it's just people cooking or eating and people buying and selling junk or houses. Hard not to just end up down the pub when the suns out and drinking out of bordem. Might be a sad git and work 7 days a week up until Xmas seeing as I'm trying to save.
