Muzzle Energy Or Pellet Fps

Having played around with diffrent weights of pellets , I can't make a judgment on what's the best to use

IE 8.4g. 780fps

10.3. 708

13.4. 622

All in 177

Heavier pellet Less wind deflection

Lighter pellet. Faster fps

Or do we find one in the middle that suits your own stile of shooting

All pellets are jsbs

Or is it all down to impact power to do the job and of course accuracy ?

Heavier pellet doesn't necessarily mean less effected by wind because, being slower, it's in the air for longer. The most accurate pellet is the one to use regardless of weight.

I just choose the most accurate pellet and then go from there. If its between 10 and 11.5 ftlbs thats perfect

Pick the most accurate pellet and stick with it. No point having an extra foot-pound of energy if you can't hit the kill zone, which on most vermin and small game is fairly small.

I go for the fastest pellets then out of the 3 or 4 fast pellets I go for the most accurate one .defiant ,accuracy plus.mosquito express .jsb express ....I will use jsb jumbos out of pcps as well as light pellets .
