bird 10,015 Posted July 12, 2014 Report Share Posted July 12, 2014 whats the best kind of chains all weather, we used to keep our dogs on chains when I was kid, but think my old man used to get new ones every 9-10 months depending our rusty they went . For better performance & longevity take a look at marine chandlery., chain, clips, swivels,rings, ect are all generally marine grade stainless and will outlast any dog.... They also have a very wide range of fittings so its easy to assemble a suitable set... spot on fella, always used marine chandlery when i had the dogs. bit more expensive but lasts forever. there was a fella had an e.bay shop selling reasonably priced gear, always had good swivels and catches. take a look on there...
