I'd love to come and join in but...., we are having the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum's only airworthy Avro Lancaster visit us with the RAF's BBMF Lancaster at RAF Coningsby And the two Lancs will be flying a display over East Kirkby Aviation museum where the taxying Lancaster "Just Jane" will be out running with them making three Lancs operating in the same space! This is all taking place over the dates of the meet to September and I'm the Official artist recording the visit with a commemorative painting to make. This is the once-only time TWO flying Lancasters will be seen flying in the same sky together since the end of WW2. And never possibly, to be seen again.

 

Sorry guys but this cannot be missed.

I've heard all sorts of excuses for getting out of something but this takes the biscuit.

 

Simon if you get the chance could you take a couple of piccies and put them up, wish I could see them flying together. As you say, it might not happen again.

I don't have a motor right now so if someone would be kind enough to pick me up from the nearest station I'd be extremely grateful (there will also be a few beers in it for ya)
