Guards For Dew Claws When On The Chase?

If you can't afford to have them removed. Do you can afford the vets bills when your dog rips them off?

I don't. I'd go to blue cross but they don't do procedures that aren't seen as necessary. They classify it as sort of cosmetic....

A shame that.

Unfortunately, yes :-(

aye its called scissors lol

Have noticed that my lurcher nearly always tears his dew claws when racing after rabbits. Not sure if it is the sharp corners or just the thrill of chasing but he seems to catch and tear his dew claws

Get em off,the dew claws.

Go back ans tell them it is necessary because you're having recurring issues with them. You don't even have to say its to do with hunting, just say it's in the dogs nature to run round like a lunatic whenever you let it off the lead.
