Took the kids out for a few hours earlier, we only had a small grey gurnard but I was happy to see the way their casting is coming along.

Can't beat that Malt and well done with the fish,allways makes it worthwile eh ,Fishguard hatbour is a good kids spot with doggies,whiting and pouting being took on most casts,the long pier,jetty thing and off the left hand side at the end,just wind in quick at the end to clear the rocks .

i cladded them oil tanks the brown sheeted ones on the quay side a good few years back and the lads were catching plenty of mackeral of the wall on feathers and spinners

Theres a place were the uni Carry out research and have placed. Cod whiting to monitor growth No fishing signs every were The only worry is. I watched the same uni carry out mud samples a few miles futher up. , cadmium , mercury , lead , were present in all the samples. Dont eat fish from docks.

If you sneek past the harbour office lot (walk up the railway track ) then the outer wall out to the sea is a awsome spot where the concrete blocks are the size of your living room and you can fish down between them with a boat rod for some big conger eels,100 lb line straight through and when they hit the bait don't mince and wind like there's an arab on your misses ,I got a family holiday booked in Pembroke this year but if the misses thinks i'm going to the beach to build sand castles then she's tripping,i've 10 years of coast fishing to make up since i lived there last and the north sea in Norfolk is well fecking shite

Good to see the young uns out and about! The lad on the left can cast better than a few of my mates who've been at it yrs.

had my lad down the other evening by the sea and he caught a small pollock, he was over the moon great to see them doing that rather then messing on the xbox.
