rabbit demon 302
I called mine milo and digger, milo came from just thinking of a name and digger hes always digging lol cheers fella thought i was been stupid naming them Do you play with the ferrets or just handle them once or twice a day, ive been told to let them get abit aggressive mine don't bite but there always trying to get out of my hand when i hold them is this just normal for ferrets just I've seen on youtube people holding the ferrets when out and they seemed to be more handled than mine or is it because mine are hobs, also rabbit demon, you say yours are pets first then workers i got told that not to treat them as pets at all is this information im getting a load of BS cheers Quote Link to post
Neal 1,888
I've had most of mine from a local ferret rescue so their temperament has been, to a certain extent, predetermined. One of my last two jills was fine but the other was described as "a little bit nippy" when I collected her. She turned out to be the most evil little cow and I hated trying to handle her as she was so intent on causing me harm. The problem then is that it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy. As I said above, I'm currently without any unless I manage to get some more permission but if I did I think I'd go for kits, then any mistakes are down to me. Quote Link to post
rabbit demon 302
I've heard all the bollox if keeping them viscious, snap their teeth, pet ferrets can't work, it's all a load of pish. Like what vanman said i spend a bit of time with them everyday playing and handling them so does my wee lassie. Their pets but put a rabbit or rat in front of them and they will kill it no bother and not bite me when I take it off them, git one hob that will clear a warren on his own and works all day, won't see him till the last rabbits bolted, They also become fairly obedient after a while. 1 Quote Link to post

You are well advised to ignore everything the bloke tells you about ferrets hes a twat 7 Quote Link to post

bobcullen79 1,495
stinky 1 + stinky 2 I took two jills in last year for the jab, they had to go down on paper as "no name" and "cut tail" due to the tip of her tail being trimmed so I could tell them apart Quote Link to post
