Cornetto96 0
I only asked for a bit more of information on his dogs because i never had anything to do with them, but i heard from other people he had good working lines, and also i watched purdeys progress video and lurcher field craft that dave did.... from what i seen there not super dogs but they would suit me for what i need to do with them. Thanks again to everyone for the help Quote Link to post
Neal 1,930
Sometimes you want to hear it from the horse's mouth...but sometimes you don't. I've not had lurchers for nine years now but my last one was from his first litter of kelpie/collie x greyhounds and was the best lurcher I'd owned. It was his temperament that made me change to pure kelpies over fourteen years ago. Like all crosses they don't suit everyone so try to meet a few first and see if they suit you. They're intelligent and can be very obedient but they know what to do and prefer to do it their way. You can turn them into push button dogs but you'd loose the kelpie in them if you did.
