bobcullen79 1,495
Hi bud, I was wondering if you know what this is, I think its a type of beech? Its in an old garden/park, probably a grand victorian garden at one point..Ive clocked an almost perfect catapult fork and would like to keep an eye on it till winter and I`d like to know what it was before harvest. thanks in advance. J Darcy 5,871
I think it might be a variation of the copper beech....even though I know the leaves are green...

Next door to me they have a copper beech in the garden that is three quarters copper leaf and a quarter normal leaf. If it stops raining tomorrow will get a photo up. bobcullen79 1,495
The beech mast looks most similar, only the ones I have just looked at online have more rounded leaves? Its not sweet chestnut, the leaves aren`t big enough or serrated. Thats the same TC whatever it is..
