morton 5,369 Posted May 11, 2014 Report Share Posted May 11, 2014 The reason the Bedlington as a recognised working terrier is bolloxed is because the KC and ego,s have bred terriers not fit for purpose,be that because the dogs working character is no longer present or worse of all these oversized monstrosity,s are bred from and touted as working bred,an oversized terrier is as useless as a terrier with no grafting character at all.Who would breed a working litter of earth dogs from a 19",lakey/Fell or russel?,the Bedlington was recognised as a terrier slightly more up on the leg than others,at 19" its better suited to coursing than entering. 3 Quote Link to post
