what was the problem i have a escort only prob i have had was the safty engageing after a shot gave the gun a good clean not done it since

Only had the gun 8 months and not many cartridges threw it I use it mostly shooting 3 inch 50g carts they it and was cycling no problem then started to Iam putting 2nd cartridge in sent it away 7 weeks later comes back saying been fixed and tested out to clays on sat first cartridge jammed with 28g 7 1/2 gun was ejecting the empty shell and was jamming the gun

I brought the hatsan escort from the shooting show about 3 years ago

 

What a pain in the arse it is

 

Clean it and it miss fires until you can get half a dozen shots off

 

It won't even entertain a cartridge less than 32 grams

 

I keep putting up with it because when it runs I love it

 

Can't really complain for £230 you get what you pay for

 

Bonus is if you see your arse with it and chuck it over the hedge it won't get any worse

Mate cut your losses, trade it in against a Benelli, Berretta or Winchester. I read time and time again about in-reliability with these SG's I'm surprised they are still being sold.

The gun was bought gareentee that it will fire 21g loads so to me a normal clay load of 28g should be no problem. I know why people dislike them but I bought mine as I know Afew friends that have them and I've seen them out and never a problem. But if not fixed this time I will be asking for new one or money back and berreta or benelli will be purchased

Why oh why do people still continue to buy these substandard pieces of junk?, Ask for your money back, and buy a decent make of semi, something you will be happy with, you will never shoot well with a gun you have no confidence in.

If it is faulty I would argue it is not fit for purpose and request either my full refund or to purchase an alternative minus the value of the Hatstand.

 

Hindsight is a wonderful thing and we all do it I just bought a "Harris" style bipod off eBay for £18.00 certainly when i got it out of the box it looks as good as my other proper Harris Bipod I have on another rifle. Only when I fitted it did I realise the utter sh*t quality

You are entitled to a full refund, which is exactly what a mate of mine did when he bought a piece of shit Hatstand, which suprise suprise did not work, do it now dont stand any nonsense.
