Very sorry to you all about putting up our date this year,but we are back on track again with our original date which is the following saturday after the welsh gamefair which is the 27th june which we have held for donkeys of years(apart from last year which was out of my control)we are still holding the show at the new venue which is on the first page of this topic,the racing will start at 11am that morning and the show will be at 1'30 thanks very much,the judges this year will be announced at the show

hi all just a reminder about the show 27th june pelenna valley foxhounds ,and also could all last years trophy winners get back to me about returning them ,best terrier,lurcher hound ,bull cross,whippet, best entered terrier,best working type lurcher,also puppy trophy's terrier,lurcher,whippet.

thanks very much its looking to be another great show

As per the last few years we'll be having an auction and this year we have been very fortunate to have a great selection of items. Closer to the time i'll give you a heads up on what's being auctioned, and who kindly donated, but ALL proceeds will go to the hounds.

yes boys everything looking good even the weather,just like to remind you that the racing is starting at 11am and the show will start at 1'30,i'd just want to thank everybody for supporting these hounds and the people who have donated to the auction,also all those boys who are travelling from far away,have a safe journey down and we'll have a few pints down the pub after,all the best Andy

Andy the only thing I got to criticise about this show is no bullx puppy class you can't compare puppys 2 working adults & to put them in the lurcher puppy class is a waste of time because they completely different sorts & the judge will be a lurcher man you should do a bullx puppy mate the show would be complete then even if you don't still a great show atb cbx

believe it or not chris but we are putting a bullcross puppy class on for that exact reason mate,so there will be a lurcher,whippet,bullcross puppy class which as you said would be fairer to everybody atb andy

      QUALIFIERS are available to GB SHOW ORGANISERS for the following CHAMPIONSHIP FINALS
                                                     at the IRISH GAME FAIR, Shanes Castle, Antrim on the 29/30 June.
      1. FIVE NATIONS WHIPPET CHAMPIONSHIP
      2. FIVE NATIONS LURCHER CHAMPIONSHIP
      3. FIVE NATIONS TERRIER CHAMPIONSHIPS
      4. MASTER MC GRATH LURCHER CHALLENGE  Two dogs to qualify from each show ( over and under 23")
      5. MICK THE MILLER CHALLENGE for Traditional HAIRY LURCHERS any size. Two to qualify from each show. 
      EACH CHAMPIONSHIP HAS £200 to the Winner £50 to the Runner Up plus other prizes and quality trophies.   As the 31st ANNUAL All Ireland Championships ( Showing & Racing) also take place this weekend ( which are open all ) qualifiers can have a real opportunity to compete for titles and prizes with the best of Irish dogs. 
      To recognise the additional costs of coming to the event for GB qualifiers, they get FREE tickets to the show and special ferry and accommodation rates and each GB qualifying event organiser gets £50 for their best in show winner. 
      To apply for your show to host qualifiers email me at irishcountrylifestyle@btinternet.com. Qualifiers will be awarded on a 'first come first served' basis.
