I wodnt,,,put a dog through that,,, I would put to sleep,,,just my opinion

I would not pay £2000 to have a 3 legged lurcher..   PTS would be my option

Lloydy,,,take some straws off him mate,,then pts,,,,without sounding callus,,,it's a lot of money to be paying for the op,,and a lot of pain to put a dog through,,life is a struggle as it is,,   Can

Mine had his front leg off cost me £2000 there will be more pressure on the one foot and my dogs toes have calloused up an he runs better than he can walk but to be honest he doesn't no his legs gone he just gets on with it and had to adapt to having his leg off but it doesn't hold him back i still run him on rabbits but no where near as many as i used to. Hope this helps

That's brill mate

For me though after spending so much money on my last dog and still needing to PTS (Not for amputation granted) I'd be very wary of paying so much again for anything with the outcome not clear. I think I'd go straight down the PTS route next time tbh ;)

You were asking about stud dogs on another topic could you not just use this dog?

Belly brother and sister......

And? Plenty of people have done matings like that

Dunno but with sommat like that, i'd think the worst, everything the best vet could then tell me would be a bonus... I've seen a similar injury, that joint between the scapula and the humerus was damaged.
