Trout Fishing?

the way we fish them is on a minnow tackle. its a wire body covered in lead then you insert it in to the minnow. nip off the tail, hook on your trebles and thats you good to fish. ive a 4 ft net made out of the green scaffold mesh and get the minnows from a local burn

this is the type i use with or without the plastic spinner on the front

As kids we used to catch minnows in milk bottles, tie a piece of string around the neck of the bottle, put some bread in the bottle and just lower it into the water as simple as that.

 

You can make something similar out of pop bottles.

big net with small holes and just go along rumbling the bank with your foot scaring them in to the net. that way you can pick the size you need

use to use net curtain and fence wire on a brush shaft or minnow mounts are totally different from them in the picture ours were just made of lead had a mould for them
