gaza 512
Never cooked rabbit before but my inlaws want one and my bitch is out for rest of season. pie-eater 377
It shouldn't affect the taste and being frozen in the skin protects against freezer burn. Soak the meat over night in salt water to remove the gamey taste.

Tiercel 6,986
To get rid of the gamey taste take the glands out next to the vent, it those glands that give the rabbit "that" smell when cooking. TC

Soak the meat over night in salt water to remove the gamey taste. Add crushed dried chillies to the salt water and it will help take the gamey taste away even better don't know why but it works
chef_shooter 3
In a slow cooker with bouquet garni (mixture of herbs) careots celery and onion. Season the rabbit first with flour and salt and pepper then pan fry. Add the meat to the veg and then cover with chicken stock. Cook for at least 8 hours. Amazing rabbit stew.
