fireman 11,482
I had one from B&Q,black and decker i think but it had a origan bar and chain and was brilliant, the thing with a eletric chainsaw is it's constant power so there's so much less chance of a bounce back or kick up and it was so smooth my misses at the time could use it safely on logs up to a couple of feet wide wide. The lack of noise was equaly as brilliant and no stink of two stroke either, the only bad thing about it was hard work carrying the old generator into the woods .

fireman 11,482
The first link on your reply was the same as i had Stig,as good a bar and chain as on any petrol one .Make up a saw horse so the logs sit firmly and anyone could use and i'd have no worries letting my kids at 11 and 16 years old have a go either but they won't be having a go with my petrol husqui..
