Jill Jabs

Recommended Posts

Vet said costs about £40 for the vial. That does four jills, but once opened it needs to be disposed of within 24 hours. So if it's one jill your having done it can be pricy. I arrange with my vet to have mine done on the same day as other ferret owners and that keeps the price down.

Having said that I can get the implant for £30 now so don't bother with the jab anymore.

My mates just got his Jill jabbed up here £10.50

When the jill comes back into season in 6 weeks time will the vet rejab her again? and again 6 weeks after the 2nd jab as it will still only be early May?

To be honest leeview I'm not sure nor do I know much about the jab as I've never had my jills jabbed but if they were to come back into season every 6 weeks after the jab, what's the point in it?

How anybody can say 'robbing cnuts' ...at 70quid for a vasectomy....

When a jill jab...that might not work...and needs repeating...

Is only half that....

Is beyond me...

BPR a jill mated with a vasectomised hob will come back in season after 6 weeks its nature, plus its not unknown for a vasectomised hob to pass on STD to a jill or even pyometria through being repeatedly mated. Is this really a good method? only plus I can see is there wont be any kits
