South hams hunter 8,855 Posted March 28, 2014 Report Share Posted March 28, 2014 How long ago you talking about? as when the lurcher was first used there weren't any rabbits or fallow deer in the UK,Just hares,roe and red deer before the normans came. I know its before the lurcher FM but red deer came over here 11000 years ago and there's also evidence to suggest hares may not be truelly native either which is quite interesting Quote Link to post
