Well lads we blanked but it was not for trying ,never seen as many hairs in one field then the next then the next every where we went there was hairs but they leg,d it as soon as the lamp hit them so went for another tactic Matt stayed at the side of the field so the beam was just lighting them up and i got with in 27 yards went prone lined the shot up with a little over to the left to allow for the windy conditions and was just about to squeeze the trigger and BEEP< BEEP BEEP they took off .It was a tx off the wife to say she was back in the house of course i was a gent and i did not rant and rave or swear or jump up and down in the middle of the field so off back to the car for some light refreshments and off again i came across three more hairs and again got with in 27 yards and much the same lined the shot up a little to the left and let one loos i watched the pellet scim it head and it jumped and they were off if only i had been just a smidgen more to the left it would of been mine O WELL NEXT TIME E MATT atvbmac :thumbs:

I've since been educated how you tell the difference.

 

When Macs phone went off I was about 50 metres or so away from him, I could hear his colourful language from my position haha. I think I even saw him jumping up and down lol

 

That did seem to work much better, one stays put at about 75 metres, while the other moved in.

Landed up on Scotland, man if I had my gun with me!! We are staying on a farm FULL OF BUNNIES!! I brought my lamp and when I took the dog out, gave it a quick flash,....dagnamit!!!!

Two or three loops and the one,s i took the shots at were your ones im on a mission know ill bag them one way or another and im going to put in for my shot gun license as the owner wants me to take care of the pigeons so we all may have to get them then we will be called the shotty boys atvbmac :thumbs:
