Where Are Hare Coursing Events Held In Ireland ?

Just some info on hare coursing events in Ireland dates and such like that joe public could attend if such things exist. I would love to take my boy to such a day out as he has the hunting bug and is fascinated when my friends run there dogs on bunnys. I would also like to witness such an event having not got into hunting untill after the ban :-(

Take your lad to clonmel its the best 3 day coursing event in ireland up to 30000 people attend from all over the globe its sum craic in pubs after each day all coursing shown on giant tv screens in pubs at end of each day atvb

That's why coursing will end up banned soon enough. They've grabbed it all for themselves so they'll get no wider support when it comes to the crunch. Why should we march, write letters or do anything when we'll never be allowed to run our lurchers in peace anyway? and coursing in muzzles is just ridiculous.

Don't rate it much myself,it's all about the run up,gets boring after2 courses for want of a better word.

But when if it goes it will be the thin edge of the wedge.

I remember writing letters of support for coursing to our local press over 40 years ago when the anti's at Crebilly amounted to about eight sad idiots. It always puzzled me that the greyhound coursing fans rarely wrote in support of their own activities....and yet years later these same fans deride the lurchermen who stood up for their sport when they wouldn't!
