Clearing Head

Recommended Posts

Well been pretty down and low over last few days. so a mooch through the woods was well in order to clear my head .. so I grabbed the hw98 after work and of I went!

First crow pellet went over its head..

second crow pellet went over its head .. !!!

:censored::hmm:

Time to think about what was going wrong! rifle was bang on, my technique was good and consistent..

aahhhhhh, trajectory and gravity, elevated shots!! silly me.

next opportunity. stalked up on a woody got about 30 yards. wobble on wobble off wobble on wobble off.. slowly wobble back on.. steady a bit lower than I did on the crows, base of the head... squeeze.. THWACK! HEADSHOT!! BOOM!!!!! feckin' sit down!!!!! :toast::boogie:

Confidence restored and a smile on my face for the first time in a few days .. got to take the lows with the highs :thumbs:

this 98, and all my rifles always put a smile on my face :)

sorry for the sh1t pic guys
