Well had a couple of hours spare so I thought I would take out the home made NV for a spin. These 2 didn't even know I was there, love the TV set up or not it works for me. Bloody amazed at the results.

Hi treecreeper, using the Ej230 with the filter removed, 16mm lens and an Olsen black illuminator. Got the camera from Sure 24 who removed the IR filter for me.

Totally agree there is nothing more satisfying than knowing you made it your self.

Plus side to making your own is that your not paying over inflated prices.

also if anything ever goes wrong you know the script and can sort it without sending it back or voiding a warranty.
