he couldn't even tell the reporter how much a loaf of bread was when asked :icon_eek:

I know, he tried to dodge the question and started talking about his bread maker............................I hope it wasn't claimed for on parliamentary expenses :hmm: You really couldn't make this stuff up.......................a multi millionaire stands in front of you and tells you that times are gonna be hard and you will have to tighten your belt....................the middle ages..............no, October 2013........unbelievable :icon_eek:

I was watching question time yesterday and it turns out that David Cameron went straight from university into a well paid governmental job.....................he actually got a recommendation for the job from Buckingham Palace :icon_eek: This man is actually saying that he is looking after "hard working families"..........................sorry but this is totally hilarious

They all did the same, Cameron, Clegg and Red Ed..........the only dude that has ever had a real job and created something is Nigel Farage......

Another good reason to put your X in the UKIP box

Personally I don't really see a problem with him getting a top end job straight out of Uni, surely you would expect that from such a person? Doesn't mean I don't think he's a prat but what's the issue with that specifically? He was obviously proactive and driven. Unlike many, myself included, who fell out of uni at the end with no clue what my future held. I had a piece of paper and very wide eyes.... not the best approach to adult life.

I was listening to a documentary about Macmillan the other night and they said about how most conservative prime ministers and MPs had a background in business as they believed at the time that you can't run a country and make up rules for people's lives without practical experience of the things you are legislating on.....sounds spot on to me

A bit of history for you mate, Macmillan publishing was founded by his grandfather who was one of a pair of Scottish crofter lads who came south and made good so his background was very down to earth

Makes sense to me too Wilf but then how can a PM have experience on everything and what experience is most important. Business is only one aspect, what about defence, education, social care, agriculture etc? The way with management these days in big companys seems to be training management skills and an understanding of their environment and having technical advisors for each specialist area.

Problem is they've never had to live in the world their decisions will effect mate.. Like I've said elsewhere on here, politics should be something you do after a career, not for a career..
