Caravan Monster 323
There's a difference between full time living in a small space full time and just going away for a few days, which is what campers and touring caravans are designed for. Campers try to be like little houses, squeezing everything from a house into a much smaller space, which is fine for a few days at a time, but doesn't work so well in the long run. Don't need all that 'stuff' weighing you down. I would concur with the advice about keeping toilet and cooking activities outside as far as possible - condensation and smells are bad news in small spaces. For what it's worth, with the budget and intended mileage mentioned, I would look for the best long / tall panel van I could find and an eiberspacher (diesel / electric) heater. Look into a battery and charger set up for lighting, sounds, laptop/dongle etc. An awning might be handy too for keeping yourself and the dogs out of rain or sun when parked up. Camping type furniture and work out what you do and don't need as you go.
