DenBell 149
Took my rifle up to grans in Scotland and lay under a tree, waited 45 minutes and was about to get up and walk around and then noticed a rabbit in the tree line around 30yrds away so took shot dead center on scope. the rabbit was at a slight angle with its back to me so the pellet went in back of the head under the ear. i wouldn't normally take that shot but im so confident that the air arms hunter pellets would penetrate i did. back to the house to cook it in the oven, served with a bit veg. lovely jubly 4 Quote Link to post

mole trapper 1,706
Back of the head shot is my favoured one if possible, never had a runner with it, just drop on the spot. Quote Link to post

DenBell 149
Back of the head shot is my favored one if possible, never had a runner with it, just drop on the spot. I prefer side of the head just behind the eye. the first time i took one in the back of the head it hit the deck then started doing loops and i had to get up close and put another one in. i have avoided it ever since. until now obviously.
