Some cracking pictures there!!!!! That's some line up for both the lurchers and terriers. A big well done to all the qualifiers, show winners and race winners over the weekend though I don't recognise that person with Maverick being presented with the 5 nations lurcher champion :laugh::laugh::laugh:

Yes the dog was well turned out and so was the lady - I heard Fiona wanted to win the racing, the showing and the best dressed lady award! Next year I hear she's going for the digging too and has a ferret in training!

I would like to express my gratitude for the weekend I have just had in Ireland, everyone made us feel welcome.

Firstly with the Dessie Mackin show on Saturday which my terrier Floyd got best in show. then the show on Sunday at Birr Castle again my terrier Floyd getting best in show.

Then I had the privilege of showing Rushill Dodge for Martyn Hulme at the 5 Nations, with my own dog Floyd getting Reserve champion.

A truly fantastic weekend, Thanks again Ireland.

We all enjoyed seeing you winning and all the other winners too, and you were so welcome here in Ireland. Don't forget to come back again with all your Canine fraternity at any time of the year, to any of our shows or Game Fairs North and South of the border. We love to see and welcome our Canine friends here to our lovely country. Thats all part of our sportsmanship and comradeship in the Canine world.. Hope we see you all back here with us shortly.

      Hi folks just an update on our show,
      This show is without doubt Irelands largest fundraising dog show, in only four years of bringing this show back to life, we are very proud to have raised £41000 for cancer related charities…
      This year we returned to Daisy lodge cancer fund for children, a local charity that does amazing work for kids and families affected by cancer….  We smashed last years amount of £14000 to reach an outstanding £17000….  
       
      We would like to thank every person who has supported our show, sponsorsed and donated gifts for an amazing raffle..   We had over £1500s worth of prizes for the raffle….  A very special thanks to Margaret Mcstay for advertising, The legend dog racing team of the McGrath Family, Dwtc for ongoing support, And  Burren working dog show team.. Thanks everyone and roll on 2026….   A show not to miss

      ****Great News for Our Dog Show Fraternity  in 2026 Re : 5 Nations/Mick The Miller/MasterMc Grath **** Carlow
      It has been decided by the Mc Grath Lurcher Racing Club and by kind permission of  Mr AJ Titterington of The Great Game Fairs of Ireland, that their Annual Dog Show event in Carlow 2026 will take place over a two day event. 
      *Saturday the 27th June 26 will be Showing only for the 5 Nations and All Ireland Showing.
      *Sunday 28th June will be for Racing Only for the Master Mc Grath / Mick the Miller and All Ireland Racing. 
      Please note, All dogs that have qualified for the 5 Nations/Mick The Miller and Master McGrath in 2025 will again automatically be qualified for 2026 event. If a dog that has won a show is already qualified in 1st or 2nd then the qualifier will go to 3rd place.
      This is just a heads up for now, full details and schedule will be issued at later date.
