For me outside the game fairs the Mourne is the largest and most attended lurcher and terrier show which also caters for a lot of aspects of terrier and lurcher work. If i had the choice of attending one game fair in Northern Ireland it would be Shanes Castle though it would be nice to see the simulated coursing brought back to the Game Fair.

Thanks to 'everyone' for their input, i'll do a bit homework on all the shows/fairs stated and then make my own mind up.

Didn't really get out of hand - just a little friendly sparring. You will find that while we might argue a little amongst ourselves visitors always find us extremely welcoming. I think you would enjoy any of the shows or any of the fairs!

everyone is welcome to the mourne show.first thanks to everyone for the good reports on the show. its been five years on the go and its went pretty well and raised over 6 grand so far for local charity.i personally believe a show is as good as the people who attend and i keep it all as simple as posible. i organize it but i have a great team of people who help on the day and there would be no show without them and the sponsorship i recieve means that as much of the money keeps going to the cause as possible.we had a few travelled over from scotland wales and england this year and said theyd be back.which is alwatys good. raynardman you are very welcome to the mourne if thats where you decide. thanks kieran

Kieran I have never been to your show for some strange reason, but yes the feed back from your show is good, hope to make it next year.
