Had a real good trek out with the dogs just yesterday,we set off after dinner and returned home after eight o'clock lol..only seen a handful of people all day,just how I like it :-) the dogs were a joy to have at heel,some of the walking was lets just say "difficult" ..good craic though..

 

A couple of miles walking through these was serious hard going (felled forestry)

Aye the old girl is coming along fine Bosun,only slight problem I've noticed is she is dropping a lot of weight after a good day out,she got fed three times yesterday to counteract it and it's summat I'm gonna have keep on doing if we are out on "safari" for the day :-)

I know these were crows of some sort,maybe Ravens up on the Fells I'm not sure but what a laugh watching them fight lol..

ime suprised ive never met you up their, ave you been for a walk thru ulldale and nannycatch woods nice wee walk their, they have taken a lot of timber out up their eh? i see the big white house on the hillside is for sale! mmm nice

Fuji, for dogs that can't hold weight when out, if your feeding dry, even if you wet it down, make and feed it sloppy. Holds weight on 'em better when under the cosh a bit.

I was actually thinking of going to Nannycatch on my next trip out lol,you know the area far better than me,anywhere else worth a visit for a good day out on the Fells or amongst the Forestry up this way?

funny you say that fuji my pup is the same i struggle with his weight and looking at venus in them pictures you can see her pins just like my dog clay.i was just putting it down to its build and i do have them out alot maybe its just their motabolism
