well here is another side of the coin, I was working around COOTEHILL, CO, CAVAN, around 1992, A good dog came out of his yard wayback in around 1972

the dog was called, Tucker, belonged to a travelling man, that dog took Hares on all type of Land, I was well dressed, and I think the old man thought I was a

 

Taxman, to get a conversation out him was like drawing blood out of a stone, His Yard well he is an old fella, tractor tyres, with a couple of bitches lying in them,

a few skeletons the remains of a couple sheep carcasses, I saw the old fella was not up for talking, But I suggested to him about introducing a good saluki,

coursing dog into his strain, he shook his head, so in turn, I said well I will leave you in Peace, good day to you, oh I did menshion another breed of Lurcher, to him what is well known in Scotland, but still No reply,

What size is the Irish terrier cross that lad bought tiger looks small enough dog if he has the speed he should be fine,I always thought you need the bit of height lol he still has the Irish terrier crosses

just 24 to 25 cap well big enough

A mate of mine had a irish terrier cross from phil king in the 90's was a great little dog i think it was a half cross and was called dillon it lacked pace for a hare as you'd expect for a half cross but dead sensible and a great worker.

The young dog ive got now has some of his breeding in but from the later coursing stuff

Does he still breed the irish terrier stuff or is it all saluki type dogs
