bigmac 97kt 13,836
Well lads went back out again tonight as i needed to clear my head after what happend this morning my wife was staying at her mothers and i did not want to stay in on my own with every thing thats going on in my head so off to the farm got there for a little over six set the scopes up at 27 yards and off i went i missed a few but it was me and not the rifle ,the rifle of choise was the raider so after a walk about i lay in wait for them about 20 mins went by and one poped out but could not get a head shot as all i could see was part of its neck for all the under growth so i took aim and let one go it just rolled over and lay down not even a kick .I just left it where it was and another 10 mins and another one came out and the same again only its neck was on view as it had come out more or less the same place and another one was dispached i went and picked them up and off i went again i saw plenty but could not get close enough by this time dusk was setting in and on the way back i saw a pigeon land in one of the tree,s so down on one knee and up with the rifle i let loose a jsb 15,89 hitting it in the chest and it just fell stone dead the rabbits are just little one,s but one of my mates asked for some for his hawks all i had to do was gut them he wants the fur left on so hope you like the read and the photos atvbmacPS the photo with the purple and yellow flowers is where i lay in whait for them Edited July 25, 2013 by bigmac 97kt 5 Quote Link to post

porkycrook 466
BigMac i was going to ask what was that climbing frame, but i got beat to it. I was going to compliment on your shooting, but i have been beaten to that. I was going to compliment you on your writing, but i got beat to that as well. So before anybody beats me too it can i please compliment you on your permission and your good looks (in a manly way you understand lol ). Tim alone in a field i find very therapeutic, i have time to think things through without distractions. I often don't care about shooting, i love course fishing and often just sit on the bank not fishing just thinking. I find that i the quiet of the countryside allows me to re-charge my diminished charge of my battery. 3 Quote Link to post
Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
Time alone with rod or rifle in hand is always noce. good to be alone in a quiet beautiful setting with no distractions. really lets you clear your head and its very therapeutic , for me at least anyway. I could stay for hours motionless just sat against my tree looking at the trees watching the little birds sing, or sat in my fishing chair watching the ripple of the water. after just typing that I just want to head down to the farm wood now, but have to go to work oh and roger, there seems to be quite a lot of man love flowing from your posts recently  1 Quote Link to post
