just tried zeroing the r10 mk1 ive just got and no chance at 25 yards every pellet is from a inch to 5 inch of target looks like ive got a bad one any advise on what i should do lads ?

Have you got a silencer fitted?

that's a shame, try darryls suggestion if that dosnt sort it make sure your scope etc is solid and dosnt move, what pellets are you using? .. if its non of those then

 

Probably two choices, pay to have it serviced and sorted out by someone who knows what they are doing

 

or sell it

 

problem is everyone knows they are notorious for problems and anyone reading this knows yours has got issues ....

check the gun is shooting consistently with a crono .check the scope and barrel are tight no movement . [ the scope may have a fault ????]. check the crown has not been damaged .clean barrel ????. and you are using good quality dome pellets .

just tried with a biesly pellet and 20 out of 20 at 30 yards bang on the money ad chronod it , its shooting 11.8 with bisley so maybe its pellet fussy well happy now lol

To be honest it sounds like you need to stop worrying. It takes time to bed in new gun and get to know it.

 

If you do get it tuned, then without new reg, Darrin charged me £100 and that made it awesome. Good luck with itand

The same things happening to my hw100 5 put of 7 pellets are tight then there is a few that go wide

So you never tested any other pellets other than Air Arms??

 

If I were you I'd try a few more different brands at groupings on a plain piece of paper and see what groups the tightest.

Is it .177? if it is then try Daystate heavies or jsb heavies same pellet 10.3gr or H&N hunters extreme 9.5 gr . BSA barrel like heavier pellets
