Pallets ??

Recommended Posts

Some good pieces there mate but there will be some work involved bringing the pallets up to a workable standard. Respect to the fellas who are breaking them up and pulling the ring shank nails out for fun!! But to produce a nice sideboard or like must be rewarding.

i like their determination to produce a usefull item out of something thats you have thought only has 1 use as a whole.

i like these out of old case's, i think it would look well in the kids room filled with books and toys.

Most of the estate round by me is made of pallets!! Fences. Sheds. Playhouses for the kids. Feck it's a commodity for trade.

And they say not enough recycling goes on. Lol.

I built a 8X6 shed mostly out of pallets - salvaged a door and some windows from a double glazing firm - all I bought was roofing felt. Routed the planks to tongue and groove into each other, and they made a really solid floor and watertight walls.

Salvaged timber for the uprights and I even managed to re-use some of the ring nails! Hard work, but seriously rewarding - whole thing probably cost me less than 30 quid !!
