youcanthide...BANG 1,051
My grandads took on a patterdale x border its 13month old now, not a worker just a pet, anyone recommend a toy for him as anything we put in front of him he destroys, only thing thats survived is one of those kong toys, but hes lost interest in that toy now and it really pisses me of when you find him chewing anything he can get too. hes out for walks everyday for miles as my grandads retired and also hes got a pure border so i dont think its boredom, i realise it isnt a pet forum but im sure someone can help, thanks Edited June 30, 2013 by youcanthide...BANG

Blackbriar 8,569
You could try putting some dog food or salmon paste inside the Kong! We've got 3 JRT X's and they love this stuff called 'Paddywack' - it's meaty and as hard as nails, but doesn't splinter like bones can - even the Mastiff X has to have a serious go to break it! It's about £1 a bag and you get 5 or 6 bits. Get it from Wilkinson, QD, Home Bargains that sort of shop.
