i hate treacle aswell mate,but you cant taste it when its cooked.like i said earlier. first time ever cooking one you done great.im no gonna attempt one lol my maw is gonna make me one to bring down.need to keep it away from that c**t lab though lol

Cheers mate it be nice to try some to compare, I got no idea if mine tastes right or not though it does taste nice to me.

 

Where did I put that haggis recipe :laugh:

ill bring haggis down newkid wants one to,and some proper square sausage for your barbecue.i like apple turnovers if any c**t makes them lol

I've never made turnovers but I can make bramley tarts though Scot. :D

I thought it was a little pale truth be told baw, I think its because I used golden syrup instead of treacle, can't abide treacle. :D

Don't worry, I'll always tell you the truth :laugh: I don't like treacle either but as scot says, you can't taste it. You never know, you might have made a new line of clooties :D

Lots on the internet look pale mate but I'm quite happy with my first attempt. :D

they wee rhubarb tarts from the bakers are good,well its a kind of hit miss.sometimes you can get a real sour one lol i might make some special brownies :whistling:
