It probably all comes out of the armed forces budget, and besides it's a proud army tradition going back hundreds of years.. Probably costs a few hundred grand to stage,brings in millions to the economy,nuff said.Finest marching troops in the world,centuries of tradition and battle honours on show,young British men,a few lasses,trained and disciplined to the highest manner,most will shortly be off to more dangerous climes,some will not return standing,Britishness at its finest.As an ex squaddie it makes the hairs on my neck stand up as the bands play and the troops march to the beat,as a proud Englishman it fills me with pride to see the Welsh,Scottish and Irish troops make me realise im also proud to associate with them and call myself British.Long may it last and long may the ones amongst us that are proud of our troops and country respect such tradition. 3 Quote Link to post Share on other sites
