Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
just been lamping shot a full grown bunny right in the hotspot, kneeling un-supported at 40-45 yards, with the hw97k .22 IT did 1 frontflip and came to rest on the floor where it was sat with 1 kick of the back legs and laid still. 5 seconds later after I've reloaded and flicked lamp back on, there's Charlie with my rabbit in his mouth and off he tots! I Just wish id have had a bigger gun ... lol So feeling pretty gutted I dragged my feet all the way home in a big sulk haha Thanks for reading, SKoT Quote Link to post

Mawders 595
Ha ha brilliant! I've had foxes pinching my shot quarry and a few times now on one of my permissions I've had the local buzzard land and pinch my shot pigeons and maggies! All in all I don't mind really as they have to eat as well and I'm not solely reliant on the vermin I shoot as a food source. I like seeing old Charlie about my perms. Watching him stalk not knowing I'm there. I've even had them walk right up to me before and sniff my boots, lol. Phil 1 Quote Link to post
