i've looked at glass but as said you really do need to know what your looking for because id end up with an arctic full and the only chance of mking anything is to scrap it :wallbash:

i started collected them wade minitures / whimmsies and i have about 200 / 300 of them at the time some worth 30 - 50 but im not so sure on that now, but id hazzard a guess that they would all in all only ow me around 40 - 60 for the lot.

so really im just waiting for them to come back around, as i was advised that items like them and everything else go in and out of fashion all the time. may take a few years but the space they take up im not too worried about them sitting around.

tell you's what i did fancy was paper weights for the same reason of the space and they're a rather desirable to many people :hmm:

paper weights make decent money ----- vintage compacts , cigarette cases and snuff boxes are the type of things I try and pick up ..........picked up a couple of old wooden tea caddies today and an old butchers shop sign and about 60 of the old plastic weight and price signs that butchers used to stick in meat in the window displays -- all from same seller 40 quid..
