youcanthide...BANG 1,051
id say 2004 the law in 1066 is one of those laws that nobody took notice of and wasnt really recognised. its like the bow law where its legal to, i quote In Chester, a person is permitted to shoot a Welshman with a bow and arrow, as long as he is inside the city walls after midnight. nobody will ever do it as its illegal to murder someone and although it is still legal to do so you will still be charged for murder, so i think thats what happened with the deer law until 2004 Edited May 19, 2013 by youcanthide...BANG Quote Link to post
BIG G wheton machine 1,594
it just shown the high n mighty depressing the common man it all started with hunting with bows so a hungry and oppressed man will do what hes told by the law and fall into place by feeding them small amounts. it takes away our independence and self sufficiency so we have to do what they say when they say. theyre doing the same to us with our dogs. and these are the law makers who say slavery is abolished. what a fcuking joke 3 Quote Link to post

Huan72 687
In 1066, the land was taken and divided up amongst those Normans that fought in the battle and the church, and a lot of the land ownership in this country remains that way now. Royal forests were created and I think it was then that Fallows were brought over and the common man was absolutely dominated. Told what to do, were to go, what to think, controlled through fear of punishment and poverty. We live in a system were the majority make the minority very rich, just as then. Were more informed now but the system is still producing the same thing, the vast majority of us making a very small group of people very rich. Look at the tax system, that started winding up at the same time, some bloke would turn up telling you what you had to give up, so many pigs, so much grain, so many sheep etc, they didn't have a choice, just like now taxes are created, increased and we can do nothing, if you work for someone else its taken straight out your pay.........except the very rich who dodge taxes with offshore accounts and expensive accountants................or some big companies that very kindly donate what they choose to, how very kind of them. The system was designed by the rich to make the rich, richer and to stop the common man from ever rising to there ranks. I wandered off the deer topic a bit but my walk out around bronze age monuments on the downs today reminded me that at the end of the day, the land and the deer that run on it are as much part of my heritage as another that just happens to have more cash than me 2 Quote Link to post
