Recommended Posts

Had a walk local to the same place both yesterday and today...talk about chalk & cheese! Yesterday the sun was shining,it was a cracking day...today the rain and wind but neither held us back :-)...

Whether the sun is shining or the rain is falling its still quite a nice place for a walk, yesterday and today I had that "mapyourun" thingy on my phone and done 12 miles yesterday and over 10 today,I ain't even covered half of it lol and don't think I ever will?..off for my eyes tested at 9am so it'll be after that when I get to make tracks tomorrow, gonna take Don with me tomorrow,he loves it up them Fells and amongst the Forestry, took Sox the Grey x a couple of days ago,ran through the fallen trees etc on the Forest floor running a daft critter and it's as lame as a duck,on THREE legs lol,one its cut right to the bone..some dogs can and them some just can't lol..

Heard of skiddaw, not sure if i've been there though, went up helvellyn 12 year ago in july, was such a hot day I got sunburn on top of my head through my hair while walking in valley bottom, then when we got to the top, this freezing cold fog came rolling in,very dramatic place, and I quickly learn't how dangerous these fells could be if you lost your way

Dont be fooled by the pictures, when the camera is switched off I hear she is tucked up in a chest mounted baby carrier, thats the real reason why fuji walks the most isolated places :boogy::boogy::laugh::laugh:
