Apart from obviously playing for Celtic I've always fancied working with animals. Wanted to be a zoologist when I was at school but realised a lot of brains was needed so dumped that idea. Something like working on the African plains or similar. Either that presenter on Top Gear.... The Lab takes over from Stig...;-)

The same here lab, I wrote to David Attenborough when I was at school asking how to get into a career with animals/ zoology etc .. He took the time to write me a letter back, explaining what qualifications etc I would need, the man is a legend in my eyes that proved to me how decent he is..

Unfortunately I realised quite early that my hobbies and career could never pay enough ( I worked in a fishing shop for a while, travelled around to big matches, shows etc, the boss designed rods for Normark and later Carbon tec, I helped with his testing) I loved it but was skint lol

Onto the buildings and built my business up, to hopefully secure my life to enjoy my hobbies...

Dream job???? Fishing charters in the Florida Keys I think..

I wrote to him as a child as well and he answered me also, the man is a living legend  I used to work in a rehoming centre, with everything from dogs to sheep to horses to ferrets and snakes and loved it. Money was rubbish but the satisfaction was immense, so many good memories and a great sense of teamwork, all doing there best for the animals. Back then I had nine ferrets in my bedroom..............you guessed it, no girlfriend  The work was physical and at the end of the day, you felt good. Over the years, I have moved on and the further I got from cleaning out animal crap, the less I have enjoyed my job. I couldnt afford to do it now but I wish I could. My absolute dream job would be tracking and studying bears in canada...............with dog for company............one can dream!
