Outlaw Pete 2,224
Clicky. Just watched this on Netflix. Pretty bloody good, actually Very well made. Really captured the gritty, documentary interview side of it too. Beat the f**king crap out of that " Blair Witch " shit, that's for sure.
Nik_B 3,791
that the one about the hunters who are being stalked?
Outlaw Pete 2,224
Yes, mate. Bloody well done, I thought. Production wise, that is. I mean, whilst it's always nice to watch fit young girls dashing around in their undies ..... I found the 'action' okay. But, I was pretty bloody impressed with the 'Interview' segments. I even found the 'political' aspects of the core story pretty f**king good, actually. Extremely well put together and acted. As was the whole thing, really. I'm amazed at the lack of response here. Has this been done to death before now? Or is there perhaps another reason for this air of tongue tiedness?
Nik_B 3,791
going to watch it now. I have to say I was a bit put off it because I thought it would be pro anti and anti hunting.

RossM 8,149
I thought it was a decent film too tbh.
The Seeker 3,048
I've been put off due to reviews saying it was a crap film, even IMDb only rates it 3.8/10 I will give it a watch now it's been recommended.
Outlaw Pete 2,224
just keep seeing parallels to "was thatcher good or bad for britian" I haven't read that thread, so couldn't possibly comment. Have you watched this film, Woodland Gnome?
The Seeker 3,048
Watched it now and its quite good, done in a documentary style and although fiction could quite easily be believed. Apparently the ALF got major critisim following the movie from people who thought it was a true story
The one 8,594
Thats on my too watch list glad its getting good reviews
Nik_B 3,791
Thought it was ok. It does kind of encourage the idea that all hunting folk are rich toffs though which I wasn't keen on, Other than that it wasn't bad.
Outlaw Pete 2,224
It does kind of encourage the idea that all hunting folk are rich toffs though Be fair, Nik; It portrayed one, single Master of Mounted Fox Hounds and his best mate. How that can 'reflect on all hunting folk' I don't know. Or are you suggesting they should have used a Welsh foot pack type chap? Farmer sort? Fact is, they simply illustrated the public image as that's what the great unwashed expect and are comfortable with. It leant credibility. Anyway, I think it did a cracking job of showing the Anti's for what they really are. Now let's all f**k off to IMDB and give it five stars!
Nik_B 3,791
Agreed on the antis I'd just like to see hunting folk portrayed a bit more realistically in general. I watched the Jacky Charlton videos on youtube a while back and thought it was amazing that it would have been shown on the TV back then. Any time I see hunting whether it be shooting or dogs (only ever hounds) on the telly its always the upper end of the sport and it gives people the impression hunting is for the rich when in actual fact there are way more working people that hunt. Since stalking is normally shown as only for the health of the breed in a mournful way by some park warden then at least this film showed it in much more realistic light. Anyway I'm not criticizing the film it wasn't bad and I watched it to the end and like you say, while most if not all antis wouldn't have the balls nor the know how to do something like this, it does show how insane they are. These are people who think it's ok to rob graves and post bombs through letter boxes etc. Cheers nick
