Rough Coated Lurchers - Care Advice

What do you lads use to keep the rough coats in nice condition ... I've heard cod liver oil or alternatively natural yoghurt has been suggested too ...

I've had rough haired an was told not to give cod liver oil tabs just give oiley fish, like sardines,mackrell or tuna but only about 3 times a week an brush daily, that worked for me, have a gud one

If you feed a good quality diet of mainly meat and bone your hound will have a shine like you've never seen. Eat the yoghourt and cod liver oil yourself.

I find with the rough coat dogs - they don't 'shine' in the same way as the smooth coated dogs. I quick brush over and a good quality diet keeps them healthy.

some good food and daily brushing if best. a food with lamb or fish in it as more oils in it.
