martnmagik 68 Posted March 5, 2013 Report Share Posted March 5, 2013 the retard butcher near me sells "LOCAL WILD RABBITS" at a huge price of £5.50 each, i asked him who supplys him and he replied i get them from down south and pay £3 each , so i said id supply him local wild rabbits at a cost of £1.50 each and he refused.......cant win with some folk. Therefore to legally sell skinned rabbits you need to be registered with the local authority as a food business. bird 10,014 Posted March 6, 2013 Report Share Posted March 6, 2013 i think prob differnce is that chinks want good numbers of rabbits (regular) where as most here in the UK, get few but not like say 150-200 week,every week,Thats why they go for (domestic) type bred rabbits all year round, you not going to get them numbers (wild) rabbits today, even in scotland, dales, where big bags have been got, some of the numbers have dropped a bit, you only can kill thenm once .!. ive had good bags with Bryn but as like lot of lads the numbers are down here the last 6-8 years to what they were once Quote Link to post Share on other sites
