Not for 30 years but it was decent then :D

Used to night fish for bream (caught fish up to 6lb)

Then maggots for roach as it came light then live bait for pike.

Mate had one of 21lb out there but biggest I had was 8lb :cray:

Cheers, D.

Yup its my local, its reasonable at best for pike nowadays, pleanty fish there but you need to be sneaky an find a spot that doesn't get hammered, every one hits the sewer bank side so can be hard going. Get on the bowling green side there's one or two laybys, use a marker and feel about for features on the bottom. A bait boat helps too. My biggest fish from there are a 17lb pike 9lb bream 2lb perch n my fave a eel I can only guess was touching doubles but came off boohoo
