pip1968 2,490
i had a cut in my dog a while back in the same place lucky for you,you spotted that as i didnt and carried on running it on stubble, the leg swelled around the joint took it to the vets and wheat stubble had broken of inside the cut and it got infected took a good few weeks to get it right.just keep it clean and cover it when walking out side and it shold be sound but if your not happy take it the vets Quote Link to post

leegreen 2,305
I rarely bath accessible cuts like that, maybe at first but no more. In my experience, if a dog can clean itself, it will. Quote Link to post
