Outlaw Pete 2,224
I've just cleared mine and I'm still seeing what Millet does. And it's bloody hard to work with. How about if we run a Disc Clean Up? Though, I suspect that would only try to clean our cache again? Yes. I never have been called a 'Geek' This is what the new quote box should look like... quote.jpg Try repeating what you have done and also pressing ctrl and F5 together after that. Hmm. Well, I appear to be getting there, Ian. See above. But; How do I cut your quotation of me out of it, please? What I really wanted to show here was like; IanB Said: " Try repeating what you have done and also pressing ctrl and F5 together after that. " See what I mean? Tried cutting the extraneous out. Back to square one though. Complete mess
IanB 0
See what I mean? Tried cutting the extraneous out. Back to square one though. Complete mess Click on the quote and delete it, the ones you dont want. Click the title and hit the delete button. Its confusing, the change I know..
Millet 4,497
I have just quoted your post and it's stil iffy..i tried quoting a multi quoted post the other day and i had to give in after 15min's of trying..
Outlaw Pete 2,224
Yep. Again, exactly as Millet just said (F**k trying to quote him! ) I'm getting the 'quote boxes' alright now. But, just try to cut one line 'too many' out of the vertical spacing? And, suddenly, it's all over. Hack your way back to the original thread and start all over again Truly vile system. Just causing misery. And one I've never came across anywhere else before

Mine was f****d up but worked once Ian did what he did. I dunno mate, you'd think it was a cookie problem or something needing refreshed. Just going to have to live with it
IanB 0
The quote system has been updated...I thought you referred to a glitch. If you prefer the old system you can switch to bbcode mode, hit the button top left of the reply box, and you will see the standard quote tags.
Millet 4,497
That sorted the quote problem Ian..but i had to click on it again or it would not allow me to post this reply..
Outlaw Pete 2,224
You can switch to bbcode mode, hit the button top left of the reply box, and you will see the standard quote tags. Well, that sort of seems to work, Ian. Only, it gives us the quote system we all know and love. But, it takes away Everything else! No use of smileys, Italics, what ever If this post turns out looking half right, it's because I've taken the trouble to quote you, in BBCode. Then Copy / Paste that here, by means of Backing to the start and replying all over again, out of BBC. Does that make sense? F**king hard work and I doubt many here will know how to manage that, even if they could be bothered. Doesn't half take away the spontaneity of answering a post. Dare I ask why you changed it? I don't seem to remember it happening. Yet nor do I remember having nightmares with quoting from the start
