Wise words mate, folk always want more than they need.....I have been as guilty as anyone else of getting more than I have the work for. The reality is not many people have enough work to give one go

yep but they look good...................

i see what your saying mate but i was gutted having alot of time off with the dog being injured i said 6 weeks in total the first time was 2 weeks the second 4 and the condition my dog lost took extra

its very true what bird as to say ,with the work ethic etc , but also the bond can only be truly got with single animals ,the time the snapp, they can be given the best of all .it dont do know harm to have to miss the occasionall night out ,to renew the vigour oin the animal, one animal is and will allways be the tops for yas . atb bunnys.

one as i can only find work for the one dog it is ok having a few dogs but not right if there stuck in the yard doing nothing a good few years ago i had three at one time and all got worked but in them days it was all my permo :D went where i wanted when i wanted to in todays world it is very hard to put the gear in front of the dogs so it is one dog then when this one is in its twilight years i will bring a pup on to replace the old dog .atb

also a point worth considering how many get the full potentiall from keeping several animals , also getting ones jukel truly running fit over a several mths through the season can be a fete in itself . atb bunnys.

I have 3 lurchers and a terrier. The lurcher and terrier are sort of retired but still get a few days out a season beating or ferreting. Then i have a bull/grey and a saluki/grey. They are both fairly good at there jobs but the bull lurcher will catch most things round the old gravel pits/ quarries and will quite often catch in think cover. The saluki/grey is niegh on useless on this sort of ground but on the farmland he is very good and i would say gets grafted. This is the first day this week my dogs have had a rest and i still might try my luck and go for a wee mooch this evening.

All the best
