desertdog 149
i have thought of that but there is no fence line, mainly open areas with dykes and small patches of blackthorn, any other suggestions.i do snare a few, shoot some and where possible ferret. Quote Link to post
Bunny Boiler 177
Whats your reasoning for wanting live ones if you are shooting and snaring them too? Just get some ferreters or lamping on there if you're pest controlling it. Quote Link to post
desertdog 149
some places you can ferret, some shoot, lamp, other spots require other methods,if i wanted ferreters id have said,i work single handed and cant stick to one job all the time, some are in gardens where i cant shoot or ferret or snare, and they require live catch! Matt 160
Drop 'Nod' on here a pm. I'm pretty sure that he makes some good quality rabbit cages. Quote Link to post

I understand that, but in this post you make look like you want to live catch here, even though you are already using other methods. I thought you were wanting to add live catching to this piece of land also? Quote Link to post

desertdog 149
bb,i work across a good few thousand acres, and any means to keep the rabbits down helps, me out, if i had a fence line to put drop traps in i would, live catchers work well, and i dont have the time to just do one job, i can pick 20 rabbits in half the time, in the morning, them check what ever needs doing, i make my living from what i do, i dont have the time to take people i dont know around the estate, nor the patience to trust them, hope that throws more light on it, thanks dd. jandcguns 65
if you can get to the hole use mk6 fenns. i have also hear you can use mk6 fenns in a tunnel for rabbits just like what you do with rats http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Genuine-Mk6-Fenn-Traps-/181066438898?pt=UK_Home_Garden_Garden_Plants_Weed_Pest_Control_CV&hash=item2a286698f2&_uhb=1 Quote Link to post
