walshie 2,804
Going to 'spoons in a bit for one of their breakfasts. mmmm. I've heard this week they are doing "Scottish Breakfasts" as it was Burns Night the other night. From what I gather it's a normal breakfast with a tiny bit of haggis on, but I'll give it a go. Multicultural me.

pip1968 2,490
the good thing about wetherspoons breakies is you can have a pint when hung over from the night before
walshie 2,804
I'm not hungover, but I consider it rude to go in a pub and not have a drink. Makes me laugh when I say to someone "Fancy a pint?" and they look at their watch before answering. What time would your watch actually have to say for the answer to be NO?

Dan_Mercian 27
When we were off on a Stag do, we all called at weatherspoons for a breakfast. It was either 8:25 and we had to wait until 8:30 or 8:55 and we had to wait until 9, anyway. I'll have a big breakfast and a pint please mate. Can't do you a pint until another 5 minutes. What do you mean? There's a time lock on the til. Ok, I'll have a big breakfast and an orange juice, keep the change and in five minutes ring me through a pint, I'll be sat over there... What a daft rule that is!

walshie 2,804
Well, had the Scottish brekkie. Hmm. Same as normal one but the sausage was squashed flat and called Lorne sausage, instead of toast and hash browns there was potato cake and this tiny little bit of haggis that tasted of spices and nothing else. Still a quick amstel made up for it.
