porkybella 284
Why do you say even tho it was broken cloud? Quote Link to post
ftm 3,357
porky -the more cloud cover the clearer the silouette of the birds in trees the cloud acts like a sheet of white paper so its easier to see stuff the darker it is ie clear skies leaves you with no background just black starry skies -you get it mate -try it out next time your out for a mooch it can be very productive with woodies-billy Quote Link to post

porkybella 284
Cheers ftm i was lamping pheasants other night i get your drift now Quote Link to post
Froudy 40
Might be wrong but isn't it illegal to shoot pheasants at night mate thought it had to be a hour before sunrise and a hour before sun set Quote Link to post
bunnyman 68
It is against the law to lamp pheasants at night or use nv on them regds brian Quote Link to post
milegajo 595
From the OP it sounds like he was referring to dusk as opposed to full on night time. porkybella must've meant peasants no law against lamping them! If he was shooting at birds that resemble pheasants, then it's most likely he was after the lesser known and perfectly legal 'wild chicken'. I can't find any legislation governing them either Quote Link to post
ftm 3,357
its only illegal if you get caught ! im wise to all that stuff lads=billy 1 Quote Link to post

Of course, you didn't breach any legislation, nor are you admitting or claiming to have done. Ain't that so. Baldrick: We didn't receive any messages and Captain Blackadder definitely did not shoot the delicious plump breasted pigeon, sir. Quote Link to post
